Massachusetts Technology Collaborative
The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative ( MTC) is the state’s agency for renewable energy and economic development. Through the Renewable Energy Trust, a public benefit fund serving Massachusetts ratepayers, MTC provides grants, loans and other financial assistance to renewable energy and green building projects throughout the state. Funded projects range from large scale renewable energy projects, investments and loans supporting the Massachusetts renewable energy industry, and green buildings to feasibility studies and teacher training courses. The Clean Energy Education site is provided by MTC.

Executive Office Of Energy and Environmental Affairs
On April 11, 2007, Governor Deval Patrick’s Cabinet reorganization took effect. The renamed Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs now includes the Commonwealth’s two energy-related agencies: the Department of Public Utilities and the Division of Energy Resources. Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy
DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) is dedicated to strengthening America’s energy security, environmental quality and economic vitality through energy efficiency and renewable energy development. EERE offers numerous programs focused on individual renewable energy technologies. National Renewable Energy Laboratory
The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is one of twenty-four labs and centers that work in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy. NREL is DOE’s premier lab for renewable energy research, development and deployment and is a leading lab for energy efficiency. Currently, NREL practices in fifty areas of scientific investigation in areas relating to renewable energy. The NREL website provides in depth information on each topic.
