Description: From the High Altitude Observatory Education pages, this link contains images and slides of the sun, a question and answer section, and further reading ideas about solar energy.  The lectures and activities are related to astrophysics, so the content in this area may not be suitable for the younger ages.  However, the basic information and content area can be resourceful to teachers and students alike.  The information can be used as a starting point in teaching about solar energy, and spurring student interest in the topic.  The historical material on the website would be a useful tool in the integration of other content areas into the curriculum.
