Description: Focusing on both renewable and nonrenewable energy sources, this website takes students on a tour through Dr. E’s Energy lab with background information about each type of energy resource. Some of the energy topics contain activities, games, puzzles, stories, and links for different energy resources that are easily accessible to students and teachers alike. While some activities are targeted towards younger students, all are informative, fun, and easy to read.

Several linked sites contain science fair projects that can be adapted for classroom use and others provide information on creating an energy efficient environment, offering students with a real-life connection to the topics and concepts at hand. While there are no lesson plan or activity formats, the interactive websites and other resource links can be used in place of traditional in-class and homework activities.
