Description: Energy Quest is a website created to answer the questions children have about energy to help them grow into future inventors and scientists.  The objective is to activate creativity within students so that they can discover new ways to use renewable energy and conserve the energy we currently have.

This website contains many sections, including interactive activities and parent and teacher resources.  The interactive section includes a story about energy with background information, games, science projects, how things work, and weekly energy news.

The energy story chapters include links to teacher pages and lesson plans for the corresponding chapter.  In particular, the science project section provides ideas for teachers’ use in classroom activities.  The section is broken down into categories for all types of energy resources.

Each project description includes the concept, materials needed, procedures and an expected outcome of the project.   Some activities include making a wind turbine, geothermal power plant, and measuring wind.  The main webpage is easily navigable and clear for both students and educators.
