What We Do
We promote ubiquitous, affordable, broadband access for all citizens of Massachusetts. Our strategy combines identifying opportunities and convening the key stakeholders who can change conditions on the ground. With these partnerships and collaborations in place, we inform decision-makers who can affect broadband markets. Our investments are targeted:
- Coordinate: engage both stakeholders from supply and demand, as well as the elected officials and policymakers who have the ability to impact broadband access, price and bandwidth
- Inform: develop and gather detailed information on the broadband marketplace, which includes mapping current availability and sharing this information with the public.
- Invest: make strategic regional investments throughout the Commonwealth, promoting innovative approaches to filling the gaps associated with broadband availability.
